Famous Nigerian female Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy has been blessed by her own father with the sum of five billion Naira (5,000,000,000) to fund her DJ Cuppy foundation which is committed to enhancing the lives of people nationwide.
DJ Cuppy’s father, Femi Otedola had no problem pulling out that much and investing in his daughter who has worked so hard to achieve a name for herself outside the “Femi Otedola’s daughter.” Her interest in music is something that not many people viewed as a worthy hustle for someone with a rich dad like hers. But Cuppy just wouldn’t care.
Somehow, she managed to get her father to view things in the same light with her, and as it now turns out, Femi Otedola is super proud of DJ Cuppy. If not, why else would he splash a whopping N5bn on her? This act of benevolence has triggered many reactions. Even controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh reacted in a funny way. She said;
“N5bn? I’m not angry. I’m just here wondering what my dad was doing when Dangote was getting rich. I need to know if he just went to God for a fine face and forgot to ask for money. 11 years foundation spending my own money without help and boom, one with leg and one-minute experience. Las las, it’s who has money, not who has passion.”
